Mission Statement
It's the mission of Kentucky Community Service Inc. to provide exceptional support and opportunities to individuals to succeed in the community that they call home. KCS strives to ensure that individuals’ rights are protected and that they are the primary decision makers in their life. Their home, social environments, contact with family & friends, and work decisions are respected and encouraged. With our assistance, participants will develop a person-centered team that is focused on their rights, individual needs, strengths and choices. KCS will support and/or arrange for meetings with the person-centered team to promote the participants’ rights to choice, inclusion, employment, growth, and privacy. KCS is a restraint-free environment and there will be no use of physical restraints, chemical restraints, or seclusion. Our goal at KCS is to assist participants in gaining natural support within their community, promote dignity and self-worth and live where they feel safe, are healthy and respected.
